Epigraph- rules and guidelines

Hey twelvians!

Hello! Here are some rules I would like you to abide by, so as to prevent hassle for other people. It would be nice if you could follow them, of course, but I won't scold you or anything if you accidentally break them :O And sorry they're so long ;_;

If you're unsure of anything, or want to suggest something, please feel free to PM the mod, again :D

The Rules and Guidelines

Posting

  • About language -  vulgarities (e.g. bitch, bastard, shit etc) are fine (but it would be better if you had none, or rather, posted less offensive words and did not drop any f-bombs), and if you want you can state so first. Good grammar is expected at least, and no ridiculous stuff like "and then i loled at him & bashd my fathr". No chat speak or text talk, unless it is part of the context, like if you were directly quoting from an SMS/chat group. Also, try to keep to standard British English. Although, some Singlish is okay  :)

  • It would be appreciated if you could label your posts to make it easier for everyone to find stuff, but please label appropriately. For starters, you can label your index number so we'll know who is posting and whoever is related to the post, or mentioned in it :) We'll help you edit the post if you make any errors though, so it's okay.

  • For those of you who prefer or simply want to practice writing in Chinese/Third Language, that's cool. I'm not sure about who can help you check your third language compositions or stories, so that might be a problem... >_< Also, the mod can't check your work :O But you still can post if you want to. Chinese is good too. 作为华人,我们应该多应用我们的语言。

  • What to post about! You can practically post about anything you want to, but please do spare a thought for our fellow classmates and post something we can relate to (like class activities or a simple shout-out)? For example, if you have a poem or a prose that you would like to post about, you can post it for us to review and comment on, so that you'll improve more in that aspect. And, please don't worry so much about what you're posting! We don't bite. We'll just see if it's relevant, so don't hesitate to post!

  • I know all of us are happy hyper-bunnies who love to type in caps, but sometimes you've got to see if it's appropriate for caps, or is it just too much?
Commentary

1. Absolutely no flaming. Reviewing, or criticising someone's work is good, because you point out the flaws they might need to fix to make the overall work better, or praise them for their good work. But flaming is pointless and hurtful. Flaming means things like "haha lol ur shit scks man go die".

2. Vulgarities. Are. Fine. I know the need to express your feelings sometimes, so they are alright, just... try not to bombard your whole comment with swear words ._.

3. Spamming - please try to keep it to a minimum! While I know you guys like to be random sometimes, I would prefer if you didn't spam on the post.

4. Please don't taunt anyone using your comments! It will be very hurtful like flaming ;__;

Thank You :)
